2026 Funding Opportunity

Each year, BOW contributes funding to support projects that align with our mission and organizational priorities. In 2024, a membership survey identified the following areas as BOW's priority areas, in order from most to least important: habitat projects, promoting bowhunting, conservation projects, land access, bowhunter education, and hunting enforcement. We are currently soliciting requests for funding from Wyoming organizations (or organizations that work in Wyoming) that have projects falling into one or more of the above categories.

• For-profit organizations

• Small businesses

• Associations

• Clubs

Funds Available

BOW expects to have approximately $50,000 available to award in 2026 across all funded projects. There is no minimum or maximum funding request, but please keep in mind that available funds are intended to be used to support multiple projects. Project proposals that offer matching funds or in-kind contributions may receive higher funding priority. Collaborative projects (across organizations) are welcomed.

Application Process

Complete the BOW Request Form (excel download) and submit to the BOW Secretary (secretary@bowhuntersofwyoming.org) by Monday, March 23, 2026 at 11:59 PM. BOW will review all funding requests and allocate funds at our annual general membership meeting on March 28, 2026. Applicants will receive notification of funding decisions by April 3, 2026.
